About our Guest Speaker:

Imam Azhar Subedar currently serves as the Spiritual Director at the University of Tampa and has become activity involved in several notable projects since 2017 including serving as the Director of Outreach and Enrichment (Project of Masjid Al-Haram, Makkah, and Masjid Al-Nabawi, Madinah), Founder of the non-profit organization O'People Foundation (promoting peaceful coexistence), and Director of Mahabbah Institute (providing lifestyle coaching). Imam Azhar has had many notable achievements through his many roles as a spiritual leader, including being the first Muslim to give the opening prayer and the Florida State Capitol for the Senate in 2014 and the House of Representatives in 2015.
